Mathematics · Physics · Chemistry · Biology — Class 6 to 12, and beyond
A fast, searchable card catalog of formulas — from Class 6 mensuration to Class 12 nuclear physics, plus a shelf of formulas past the NCERT syllabus. Each card breaks down every symbol, tells you when to reach for it, and shows the working if you want it.
Sutra is a single-page reference shelf for Mathematics and Science formulas, built for students working through the Class 6–12 NCERT curriculum — and anyone who just wants a fast, clean place to look a formula up.
Formula sheets are scattered across a dozen bookmarked PDFs, blurry photos of the last page of a textbook, and half-remembered notebooks. Sutra keeps them in one shelf: searchable, filterable, typeset properly, and explained rather than just stated.
Every card shows the formula in typeset mathematics, a breakdown of every symbol with its unit, a note on when the formula actually applies, and — where it helps — the working behind it. Most of the shelf follows the NCERT syllabus, with a handful of formulas kept on hand beyond it for students heading into competitive exams or higher study.
Sutra is built and maintained by Mohak Choubey, an independent developer based in Indore, India. It's free, has no ads, and runs entirely in your browser — nothing you search or bookmark leaves your device.
Nothing leaves your device. Sutra runs entirely client-side: there is no account, no server-side database, and no analytics tracking pipeline behind this page.
Your theme preference and your bookmarked formulas are saved using your browser's local storage, purely so they're still there next time you visit. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted anywhere. Clearing your browser data will remove it.
This page loads fonts, a math-typesetting library, and a search library from public content delivery networks so the page loads quickly. These providers may log standard technical request data (such as IP address) as part of normal web infrastructure, in line with their own policies.
Sutra does not set its own cookies or use them for tracking or advertising.
Sutra is designed to be used by school students. It collects no personal information from any visitor, of any age.
If this policy changes, the update will be reflected on this page with a new date above.
Sutra is provided free of charge as a study reference. You're welcome to browse, search, bookmark, copy, print and download anything on this shelf for personal study or teaching use.
Formulas are compiled carefully from the NCERT curriculum and standard references, but Sutra is not an official NCERT product and may contain errors or omissions. Always cross-check against your textbook and teacher before an exam.
